Post Sales Implementation Specialist is the primary technical talent for the Implementation of the various technologies that PureLogic represents. The Implementation Specialists work closely with the Sales Engineers, the Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Post Sales Implementation Specialist must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the implementation process. They also must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the implementation cycle, have a good working knowledge of compute platforms as well as Cloud, Linux, Automation & Virtualization software solutions.


Overall Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Assist customers and team members in the installation, training, deployment and support of solutions as required.
  • Communicate status, issues, and impact with relevant client and process owners.
  • Operate as part of a self-starter and highly committed agile development team.
  • Implement stories based on product requirements and ensure the detailed implementation provides the best experience possible to the end user.
  • Contributing to the maturation of our cloud infrastructure and data pipeline.
  • Identify areas for automation and implement them.
  • Proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and coordinate remediation.
  • Document infrastructure and runbooks for support team.
  • Monitor client’s critical application performance and availability
  • Summarize and review performance trends in operations status meetings
  • Assist client staff in the troubleshooting and root-cause diagnosis of performance issues
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards and reports to meet requirements of IT and business users
  • On-board additional applications for monitoring
  • Mentor and train customers on the Dynatrace Platform and Best Practices
  • Provide services that maintain and grow the adoption of the Dynatrace Platform in customer environments
  • Provide regular status updates and project documentation to support efforts at customer engagements
  • Assist sales team in identifying new opportunities for product and services at customer sites
  • Ensure health of the client’s Dynatrace Platform deployment and update software with any necessary service packs
  • Maintain accurate deployment documentation
  • Designing, building, and provisioning Cloud infrastructure that an organization or application will run on
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing timely and functional solutions
  • Eagerly participate in provided training to advance technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Capture method arguments for key pieces of the application
  • Provide weekly status report to Client
  • Identify resale opportunities, and support them to achieve sales plans.
  • Aid in preparing and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Attend company training seminars to become familiar with product lines.
  • Act as application/training/support resource during implementation and post go-live
  • Work alongside functional, industry, and technical specialists to assist with the implementation and integration of innovative solutions including methods, techniques, tools, change management, and training
  • Periodically write technical documentation for products.

  • Assist, research, resolve, and de-escalate Cloud Platform customer issues through effective ownership.
  • Develop a broad understanding of a customer’s implementation of Cloud technology by reviewing, reproducing, troubleshooting possible root causes, or escalating customer reported issues.
  • Work as part of a team of specialists and engineers that provide customer support.
  • Troubleshooting experience with cloud technologies.
  • Implementation of core applications supporting monitoring service support
  • Understanding of large scale applications, network architectures, monitoring and fault management.
  • Create monitoring dashboards for an IT team and the business team.
  • Understands incident rules and alerts and get those defined for his application by interfacing
  • Coordinate between support and development teams to ensure effective delivery of monitoring services to the end-user
  • Stay abreast of the latest monitoring technology and trends

 

Education


  • College or University diploma in computer specific course or equivalent working experience
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as a Software Developer

  • Bilingual (not mandatory)
  • Ability to Obtain Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance (Secret)
  • Excellent written and Verbal Communication skill

  • Strong organizational, judgement and leadership skills
  • Must demonstrate proven experience with participating in client discussions and meetings
  • Strong Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS
  • Proficiency in DevOps programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, C/C++, Perl, SQL, PHP, Java, Bash and Scala
  • Proficiency in Web Services
  • Experience designing and evolving APIs

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • A CI/CD practitioner and advocate.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with version control administration.
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications on Public Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
